civic (and human) duty done.

i just voted. i got an absentee ballot from georgia, figuring that my vote, while still lost in the wilderness, would make more of a difference in the republican wilderness of georgia than it would in the democratic wilderness of new york or illinois. turns out georgia needs my vote worse than i thought:
